Nomedo is local-first. Your notes are stored as Markdown files on your own device and in your personal iCloud Drive. We do not have access to notes you have not chosen to publish.

Notes you publish

When you publish a note, its contents are sent to our servers so we can render it at a public web address. If you password-protect a note, the password is stored only as a salted hash — never in plain text — and the note’s contents are withheld until the correct password is entered.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store the email address you provide so we can contact you about access and launch. We don’t sell it or share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
